Unpopular Opinions Book Tag!!!!!
Today we are going to do the unpopular opinions book tag. This tag was created by The Book Archer on you tube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYfgq8HgDc0). I have seen a lot of people do this tag on you tube and now that i have the opportunity to do it i am gonna take it.
Just a little disclaimer... all the opinions mentioned are personal and not meant to hurt anyone. So let's get started.
1. A popular book or series that you didn't like.
For this question i am gonna go with Miss peregrine's home for peculiar children. I know a lot of people absolutely love this series but it fell a little flat for me, i still think that the idea was amazing but it was just very poorly executed.
2. A popular book or series that everyone else seems to hate but you love.
I would not say that i absolutely love this series but i just do not hate it as much as everyone else... and it is Fifty shades of grey trilogy. I agree that the sex scenes were kind of cringe worthy and it was not any literary fiction or anything but at the time i read it i kind of liked it. It flew by really fast and i enjoyed reading it which was exactly the thing i needed at that time.
3. A love triangle where the main character ended up with the person you did not want them to end up with OR an OTP you don't like.
I know a lot of people would disagree with me on this one but for me it wound me Mockingjay (Hunger Games part 3). I am not going to elaborate on this answer because i do not want to give away any spoilers but i did not like who Katniss ended up with.
4. A popular book Genre that you hardly reach for.
For me it has to be science fiction. It's not like i don't like it, just that most of the material in this genre does not interest me. But if any of you guys have any recommendations for me, i would love to try them out.
5. A popular or beloved character that you do not like.
That would be Laura Blacklock from The woman in cabin 10. I just finished reading this book a few days ado and oo my god!!! i hated the main character, she was so obnoxious and i think for me the entire book was tainted because of her.
6. A popular author that you can't seem to get into.
Ransom Riggs is someone i don't see myself picking up again.
7. A popular book trope that you are tired of seeing.
There are a lot of answers for that question, but i am tired of seeing blonde cheerleader who absolutely hates main character as soon as she meets her because apparently the guy she likes is interested in our down to earth protagonist. This is in like every single YA book ever!!!
8. A popular series that you have no interest in reading.
I have no interest in reading Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, i read her Lux series and by the end got so bored that could not even finish it.
9. The saying goes "The book is always better than the movie", but what movie or T.V. show adaptation do you prefer more than the book?
For this i am going to go with Stardust by Neil Gaiman, i saw the movie first and was to excited to read the book but got so bored that i could barely finish it.
