Book Review: We Were Liars
Book Title: We were liars
Author: E. Lockhart
Pages: 240
Published: 13 May 2014
Goodreads:★★
Amazon
My thoughts:
I know a lot of people liked it because of that plot twist because pretty much everyone can agree that the book is otherwise trash.. it is soo boring, but to me that plot twist just came out of nowhere.. it doesn't make any sense.. it's just there to make the reader believe that this author had some genius propaganda while writing this book.. but no it's just a shitty way to make us feel like we were just getting bored because we didn't really knew the truth.
See for me to like a plot twist you have to make me believe this could actually happen.. like when i read it, i should feel like the author gave us enough chances to find it while cleverly hiding it at the same time.. this book feels like having a conversation with a ghost... you think it is real the whole time but then at the end it just disappears, leaving you feel like a complete moron for having the conversation in the first place.
